Team offsites, corporate retreats, and multi-family getaways, with room to gather, focus, and unwind on the lake. See how the lodge works for a group.
Lake Chatuge sits in the Blue Ridge foothills on the Georgia–North Carolina border, ringed by the Chattahoochee and Nantahala National Forests. It’s a quieter, scenic mountain lake: clear water, wooded coves, and long views, with the Lodge’s private dock a few steps from the door.
Ten minutes from downtown Hiawassee and about twenty from Brasstown Bald, the state’s highest point, the Lodge balances a private retreat setting with real things to do.
A Luxury Tri-toon and paddlecraft wait at the private dock through the warm season, with calm mountain-lake water for cruising and swimming.
Some of North Georgia’s best-known hiking and scenery is close by, including the drive up to the state’s highest summit.
Downtown Hiawassee is ten minutes away for dining, groceries, and a lakeside stroll, so a group can resupply without a long trip.
The water season runs late spring through early fall; autumn brings the Blue Ridge color, and the pool, hot tub, and heated indoor pickleball court make it a year-round retreat.
“Our family had a fabulous time! Wish we lived closer for we would rent it again. There were so many activities inside home as well as outside. We rented the boat. David realized we had small children and surprised us with a new tube to cater to the youngsters. He said to call or mention anything we need. He had new pack n play and high chair in boxes for I inquired whether this was something he had at the rental. He also had a brand new black stone grill. The outside kitchen, poolside is more than I expected. We lived at the pool and many from our group used the boat, paddle boards, canoe. 1st night on vacation my nephew caught a nice bass off the dock. He caught perch, pan fish by canoe. There are so many things to enjoy at house or lake. Many waterfall hikes and sightseeing places to tour within a 30 minute drive. Can’t wait to comeback for a week of fun!”
“David was a great host! The house was perfect for our weekend.”
“Great place for large family gatherings with tons to do for everyone.”
“The cabin has a space for everyone, lots of amenities , very accommodating, the venue is awesome , and David is so kind !!!”
“Great family vacation! We were pleasantly surprised to find bathroom soaps/shampoos and paper goods stocked for our stay. Pool towels and all accessories/equipment for the games/activities were provided. The pool and activities are fantastic. The few minor issues we encountered (as one does anywhere) were addressed and dealt with quickly. Very responsive host.”
“Our stay of 18 people (4mo to 82 yrs) & dogs at the Lake House was perfect. There was so much for everyone to do & plenty of space to spread out. We were on the fence about renting the boat because of projected weather, but I’m so glad we did!! We did a day trip to the Atlanta aquarium & Helen, had a great time at both. The house had plenty of kitchen dishes/equipment & oh so many grills/black-stone/smoker. Beds were comfy & the house layout was perfect for us, we brought dogs & a family member allergic to dogs & were able to separate & keep pets on the bottom floor of the 3 levels.”
